MEET THE DOCTOR

Dr. Daniel Fenn
General Dentist
Dr. Daniel Fenn graduated from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. He spent his teenage years in Idaho, but work opportunities initially led him practice in small towns in the Midwest. However, after several years of working in other offices, he decided the time was right to return to start his own office and put down permanent roots in the Pacific Northwest. After a lengthy search, Dr. Fenn met A. James Harris, D.D.S. who had recently decided to retire and was looking for a like-minded dentist to take over his practice. Dr. Fenn was very impressed with the focus on community, long-term relationships, and affordable quality dentistry. It didn't take long after that first meeting for Dr. Fenn to decide that Wilbur, WA is where he wants to be and Wilbur Family Dentistry was born. He loves the rolling hills, wide open spaces, endless wheat fields, and sense of community that can only be found in a town like Wilbur and plans to raise his family here.
Before dental school, Dr. Fenn attended Brigham Young University, where he received a National Merit scholarship and completed a degree in Mathematics. During dental school, he served as Class President while completing a challenging accelerated program that allowed him to finish his dental degree in only three years (most dental students take four years). Dr. Fenn prides himself on working with a gentle touch and works hard to make patients feel comfortable and relaxed while addressing their dental needs. He loves getting to know people as he helps troubleshoot and solve their dental problems and one of his favorite feelings is seeing a patient who used to be embarrassed or shy about their teeth flash a healthy and confident smile.
Dr. Fenn is dedicated to improving his skills via continuing education and constantly reads the latest dental research so he can stay up to date with new methods. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry and travels all over the country to learn techniques from top dental experts. He is involved in multiple study groups and is active in several online dental forums. He is also committed to implementing new technology and looks forward to being able to offer state of the art materials and options for restorative dentistry, root canals, oral surgery, digital x-rays, Invisalign®, pediatric dentistry, and more.
Dr. Fenn's favorite thing to do when he is away from the office is spend time with his beautiful wife, Natalie, and their children. He also enjoys playing piano and guitar, cooking, biking, gardening, and spending time outdoors.

OUR SERVICES
Composite Fillings
We use the latest materials and techniques to sculpt beautiful, durable, nearly invisible tooth colored fillings to replace small to medium sized areas of the teeth that have chipped or been infected with tooth decay.
Crowns and Bridges
For missing or broken teeth and larger areas of decay, we are usually able to restore the tooth with a strong, natural looking crown or bridge. This durable restoration strengthens and reinforces the tooth to prevent further damage or deterioration.
Preventative Treatments
Prevention is a primary goal for your treatment. We offer a range of preventative services including sealants, fluoride treatment, and many products that can help improve your oral hygiene and reduce the chances of developing future dental issues.
Cleanings and Periodontal Treatment
Even with regular brushing and flossing, most people accumulate plaque and tartar on their teeth. This buildup must be removed regularly to prevent periodontal disease (infection of the gums). The dentist or hygienist will carefully remove any plaque or calculus from your teeth, restoring your gums to optimal health!
Root Canals
A root canal is sometimes necessary when a deep cavity or other irritant causes damage to the nerve inside your tooth. This common procedure allows you to keep and rebuild a tooth that might otherwise need to be extracted. We use the latest methods and technology to ensure that your root canal treatment is a quick and comfortable experience. For difficult root canals, the doctor may refer you to a root canal specialist, or an endodontist.
Oral Surgery
Although our goal is to help you keep all of your teeth for life, it is sometimes necessary to remove one or more teeth due to infection, trauma, or other reasons. Although we occasionally need to work with a specialist for difficult cases or if you need IV sedation, we can usually save you a drive and handle most extractions at our office in Wilbur.
Dentures and Partials
A cost effective way to replace multiple missing or damaged teeth. These appliances can transform your mouth and give you the ability to smile and chew again! We will work with you to achieve the best fit and appearance possible for your situation.
Invisalign®
These invisible braces are a state of the art solution that lets you correct crowded , spaced, or misaligned teeth without the wires and metal brackets that come with traditional braces. The clear aligners are comfortable and almost imperceptible.
Pediatric Dentistry
We love seeing children of all ages and welcome them to our office. We want to see them as soon as they have teeth so that we can get to work establishing healthy habits and avoiding future dental issues. Dr. Fenn has the experience and training to treat most children here in Wilbur.
Cosmetic Options
If you want to brighten your smile we will work with you to explore options such as tooth whitening, orthodontics, cosmetic bonding, and veneers or crowns to give you the bright, vibrant smile you have always wanted!
Dental Implant Restoration
We work with highly skilled specialists to offer state of the art options to replace missing teeth or anchor a denture with dental implants. These amazing titanium fixtures fuse with your jawbone and act like an anchor for crowns or dentures. They look, feel, and function just like your natural teeth!
